We specialize in the conversion of older organ consoles from their analog or transistor circuitry to a full MIDI console incorporating a Hauptwerk® engine. Many older organ consoles, especially those from Rodgers and Allen have 'good bones' that consist of sturdy construction from select hardwoods and feature wood core keyboards which are now considered a luxury upgrade.
A VPO conversion also serves as a repair/upgrade alternative when the existing instrument fails or is met with catastrophe such as an electrical surge. In these cases the wiring connecting the moving parts such as keyboards, pedals, pistons, etc. is most likely still intact and functional. Here are the key advantages for the conversion in this situation:
- A *better* sounding instrument for less cost than a new digital model of equal size.
- The customer isn't spending money to restore the dated, sterile organ tone which is now surpassed by current technology.
- Before Hauptwerk®, the organ console whose internal electronics were too costly to repair, would have ended up in the landfill.

Consulting is also a big part of our business. Many customers already have a VPO or an organ with built in MIDI and need direction for the next steps for adding a Hauptwerk engine or a detailed plan for multichannel audio or surround sound. On a few occasions we have resolved an issue remotely by a conference call or screen share if the VPO is attached to the internet.
Rental
We have a rental VPO console with a low profile design consisting of 3 manuals, AGO pedalboard, and 2 portrait touch screens. Audio is flexible from just headphone use, to stereo speakers, to full fledged 24.2 multichannel install.
